RE: Electrical problems - again, at a state park

Labor Day weekend, all but three of us on our row and the next one over lost power (ours dropped really low). After 2 1/2 hrs. all was well -- after Toledo Edison found a snake in the power box near the shelter house (Yuck!!)

RE: Lake Erie Circle Tour Campgrounds in late October

Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon, Oh (Toledo) is open year-round. They have electric, heated bath house, dump station, fresh water filling station, and the campstore will still be open as their "winter" season doesn't start until November. They are on Lake Erie. Rates are $27.00 per night. Plenty of sites are still open for the dates you are interested in. Their website is http://www.maumeebaystatepark.org/Campground.html

RE: Bad doggie!

Plexiglass will block the air flow if you decide to leave your outer door open and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. It also scratches and can get dull looking. My brother bought a couple pieces of gutter guard and screwed them to the inside of the screen. Still lets the air through but his ferrets can't tear up the screen.

RE: How to store Equalizer?

I bought a fishing pole bag #18791 from Collections Etc. It has a zipper to adjust the length and it is just right. Less than $10.00. I just grab ahold of carrying handle (and adjustable straps to balance weight) then put it under the bed.
